UCW 101: Organizing Basics
Part of UCW-CWA's Spring 2026 Regional Public Training Series.
UCW 101: Organizing Basics - Our union is uniting campus workers across the South to build power and win change. Corporate attacks on worker rights, fair pay, free speech, science funding, and more are on the rise. Now more than ever, students and workers need to come together across their differences to build a labor organization that can effectively fight for their shared interests.
In this 75 minute training, we will review and discuss some of the fundamentals that guide our United Campus Workers organizing strategy, and leave with next steps for applying these fundamentals on their campus and in their workplace. Any and all United Campus Workers members are encouraged to attend.
This training will be led by UCW-GA field organizer Bryant Barnes and CWA national campaign lead Tiandra Robinson.
